05/08/09 The last Salinas swimsuit just came in: The Sirena Bikini; a very cute placement print hipster bikini. This will probably be the last of our deliveries for 2009, so hurry and pick out your bikini. Our stock is dwindling. You can expect 2010 swimsuits to come in starting around September.

02/25/09 Spring Break, already? OMG! It’s all so hectic…the all night study sessions, tests, the finals, the travel plans, so much to do…and don’t forget the swimsuit. May we suggest a few of the best swimsuits for spring break this season? You’re going to love these because they won’t break the budget, but will still make you look absolutely sexy and currently fashionable. (After all, who wants to show up on the beach in a swimsuit that looks like it came out of the last century?)
Take a look-see at the latest from Letarte Swimwear and you’ll be happy to find out that there is a BIG Letarte Swimwear sale going on now at TT. YES! You won’t find the 2009 Letarte swimsuits cheaper anywhere else and they’re so freeking cute! The cover-ups aren’t bad either.

02/13/09 It has arrived! The new Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition has hit our local news stands and I raced down to the store to get my copy before they sold out. This is a big day, not only for sex minded sports fans, but also for models, swimwear manufacturers, and of course the swimwear retailers. (And yes, we are mentioned again, this year as the place to buy the SI swimsuits.) Several of the swimwear labels that we carry are featured in the 2009 issue. First and foremost, the SNAKE bikini by Lenny Swimwear, is shown on page 40. SI shows the halter version; we have the bandeau…beautiful, either way. It’s important to note that many of the suits that make it into the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue, do not necessarily make it into production. SI asks for samples of these suits very early in the season, before the final decisions and cuts have been made by the designers.
Other great beachwear labels that we carry such as Red Carter, Letarte, Zimmermann, OndadeMar Poko Pano, Melissa Odabash are also featured this year in SI. Congrats to all of these great swimwear designers! We are so proud to be carrying their lines. Carter has been making some waves these days with his nod to the roaring 20s and his One Shoulder One Piece Swimsuit . Look for lots of his swimsuits and sportswear in the press this season.
The new, 2009 swimsuits and beach frocks are all just about in. Look for a few, late goodies from this year's Salinas Swimwear Collection to start arriving next month. And now, we turn our attention to the 2010 swimwear styles. What will be in store for next year?

are anxiously awaiting the new arrivals for this season, expected any time now...probably
around the middle of November. We just heard from one of our favorite swimsuit
labels, Salinas, and they may be sending us some special bikinis for spring.

flew back from Las Vegas and oh, my, there are so many luxe looks! There's going
to be some serious competition on the beach next year about who is donning the
chicest bikini. The styles and fashion trends for women's swimwear 2009 are very
polished. We fell in love with more than a few designer labels and we know you're
going to love them too.

just knocked us out! We think that you'll love it too. Look for some old school

is over...it was good...and now on to MAGIC. I'm seeing a ton of prints so far.
We're seeing more traditional styles... no surprise, considering the state of
the world's affairs these days. Still, there's lots of new and fun stuff out
there and from wide variety of countries besides the USA s/a Australia, Spain,
Costa Rica, Columbia, England and of course, Brazil.
05/20/08 The
shows are approaching: Sao Paulo, Rio, Miami, Las Vegas, ASR. The calls are
coming in from the reps asking for appointments and our books are quickly filling
up. The lookbooks are hot off the press and speedily on their way. Our own design
room is in a frenzied state or organized chaos. Let's take a glimpse on what
we can expect in women's swimwear fashions for 2009. We will be regularly updating
this page to let you know what the latest fashion trends are for the swimwear
of the future. Here's what we know so far:

Glamour and sophistication is very hot right now. The girl next store
has grown up and she wants everyone at the pool and beach to know it.

Piece swimsuits are all the rage. Cut-Outs, Monokinis and sleek Maillots
will be seen more at the lake, by the river and on the sand. Take a peek

Underwire top for both bikinis and 1-piece swimsuits. It's back, but much
sexier and romantic than before. Look for those Brazilians such as Cia.Maritima

Bandeaus are everywhere! They're showing them in all kinds of clever ways.
Red Carter did some saucy ones this year.

A little more coverage than previous years. The Americans and Aussies
are coming on strongly with a fuller cut and even the Brazilians are putting
just a tad more on their back sides...not a lot, mind you, but just slightly
more bottom coverage than we've seen in the past. (I can hear a sigh of
relief from shoppers already.) Check out Red

Lower legs. A lower cut thigh will show off a retro look, but in a totally
modern way...very glam!

High Bikinis- Don't laugh...they're sweet and very sexy!!! Soooo Betty
Paige! The keep popping up in the collections this season. They're not
for everybody, but then again, they ARE pretty darn cute.

Everything is soooooo.....luxurious this year and it's all in the details,
from the fabrics to the fit. You'll feel like you have made a sound investment
by buying a gorgeous designer bikini or swimsuit from Melissa
Odabash.
